## Step 1, Apply Section & Block Colors

### 1. Open Edit Mode
Open your Deal room template, Deal room resource or deal room.

### 2. Access Section/Block Settings
Click the color palette icon to select a color from a GetAccept preset, or one of your organization's saved presets.

GetAccept's presets have been designed and approved for accessibility requirements.

Alternatively, you can click the **ellipsis (⋯)** on the section/block, then select **Section colors** or **Block colors**.

### 3. Choose a Preset or Customize
- **Presets:** Select one saved in your entity.
- **Custom:** Adjust background, headings, text, pricing tables, forms and dividers.

### 4. Adjust Specific Components
- **Pricing tables:** Set bar and text colors.
- **Forms:** Set input field and text colors.

### 5. Check Accessibility
Use the built-in **contrast checker**.
- AA/AAA status will show for normal and large text.
- Avoid color combos that fail both.

### 6. Save as a Preset (Admins only)
Name your scheme and save for future use.

## Step 2, Manual Text Coloring

### 1. Select Text
Highlight the text you want to style.

### 2. Change Local Color
Click **Text color** in the toolbar and pick from the swatch or enter a HEX code.

### 3. Revert if Needed
Click **Clear local color** to return to the section’s or theme’s default.

## Best Practices
- **Keep it simple:** Too many colors can be distracting.
- **Prioritize contrast:** Ensure your text is readable on all devices.
- **Save time:** Store frequently used schemes as presets.
- **Guide the eye:** Use color purposefully to emphasize key information.

## FAQ
**Q: How do I make sure my colors are accessible?**
To make sure your colors are accessible, use the **contrast checker** in the Section & Block Colors menu. It will show if your chosen text color meets AA or AAA standards.

**Q: Can I use transparent backgrounds?**
Yes, but only in **deal rooms**. Avoid busy images behind text for readability.
