Overview

The Link element allows you to add a visually styled content block that links to an external website. It’s designed to help guide recipients to additional resources without disrupting the structure of your document or deal room.

What the Link element is used for

Use the Link element when you want to:

• Direct recipients to external content
• Share blog posts, landing pages, or product pages
• Add clear call-to-action links inside your content

Adding a link

When adding a Link element:

• You enter a URL
• The editor creates a structured link block
• The link appears as a call-to-action button for recipients

Editing link content

After adding the Link element, you can customize:

• Headline text
• Supporting description text
• Button label
• Placement within the editor block

This allows the link to match the tone and purpose of your content.

How recipients interact with the link

When recipients click the button in the Link element, they are redirected to the linked website in their browser.

When to use other options instead

• Use inline links for simple text hyperlinks
• Use Image & Text when linking is secondary to visual content
• Use the Link element when redirection is the primary action

Managing the Link element

Like other layout elements, the Link element can be:

• Moved within the editor
• Locked to prevent changes
• Deleted if no longer needed
