Connecting GetAccept to Slack

Learn how to connect GetAccept to Slack so you can provide real time updates and buyer insights from your Deal Rooms and Contracts directly to Slack.

Important: This integration must be set up by someone who holds Admin permissions for both Slack and the GetAccept entity. To get started, you will need to authorize the connection via your GetAccept settings under Integrations.

How to connect GetAccept to Slack

Go to GetAccept Integrations

1. Under the tab All integrations or Engage scroll down to find the Slack integration

2. Click Connect

3. You should be prompted to connect to the GetAccept app via a new tab. Click Allow.

4. You'll be redirected back to GetAccept. Click Approve to finalize the connection.

5. Slack is now connected to GetAccept which provides the following:

   1. Buyer events for your Deal rooms, proposals and contracts will now be automatically pushed from GetAccept to Slack.
   2. All Deal Rooms and Contracts events can be pushed to a default channel(s).
   3. Individual Deal Rooms and Contracts can be linked to specific Slack Channels.

How to Add GetAccept to Slack

Once you've connected GetAccept to Slack in the above steps, users need to add the GetAccept app to their Slack workspace.

1. In Slack, go to Apps and right click.

2. Click Manage.

3. Select Browse Apps.

4. Find GetAccept and click.

5. Add the app and place it where you want in your Slack workspace.

6. From the App you are now able to view all of your Deal Rooms and Contracts. You can link them to individual Slack channels; if you are an admin, you can set a default channel for contracts and/or deal rooms to update as well in the settings option.
