How to connect your GetAccept account to Google Docs

You can create templates using Google Docs, allowing you to inline edit your document before sending it out. This helps maintain consistent formatting and enables easy content updates directly within your GetAccept account.

To successfully authorize your Google account, you must log into GetAccept using the URL https://app.getaccept.com. You cannot use your subdomain (<your-domain>.getaccept.com) when authorizing the integration. Follow these steps before continuing:

  1. Open https://app.getaccept.com.
  2. Log in with your credentials ( you must be an admin).
  3. Proceed with the instructions below.

How to Connect Your GetAccept Account to Google Docs

  1. Navigate to Settings in your GetAccept account.

  2. Select Integrations.

  3. Scroll down until you find Google Docs.

  4. Click Connect.

  5. A window will appear, prompting you to authorize Google Docs to access your GetAccept account.

  6. Click the Authorize Google Docs button and select the Gmail account associated with the Google Drive you want to use.

Grant GetAccept permission to access your Google Drive. GetAccept will only access documents and folders created through the integration.

Once connected, you can view and manage the Documents and Templates folders that GetAccept creates within your Google Drive.

Sharing Google Docs Templates with Your Team

For your colleagues to create and edit documents from your Google Docs templates, they must be logged into a Google account in their browser. You will need to manually set the following permissions in Google Drive:

If colleagues need to edit templates, they must have edit access to the template folder.

Users can share a common Google account (e.g., a free Gmail address) if necessary.
