**Important:** Salesforce _Developer, Enterprise, Performance,_ or _Unlimited_ editions are required to use the GetAccept integration.

## 1. Create a Listener URL

Before installation, set up a Listener Site in Salesforce. This allows your Salesforce org to receive data from GetAccept.

**Steps:**

1. Go to **Setup**, search for **Sites**, and click **New**.
2. Set the **default web address** to `listener`.
    - Label and name can be anything.
3. Set the listener to **Active** and click **Save**.

Your company’s Salesforce domain must already be set up for this to work.

## 2. Install the GetAccept App

**Install the GetAccept Salesforce integration here (version 2.136.0):**

[GetAccept Salesforce App Installation](https://login.salesforce.com/packaging/installPackage.apexp?p0=04tQy000000W1iX)

If you are upgrading from an earlier version, the first two steps of the sendout flow have changed significantly.

When prompted, approve **Third-Party Access** to allow Salesforce to communicate with GetAccept’s API.

The installation may take several minutes. If you see a message that installation is continuing, check back later.

A confirmation email will be sent when the package is successfully installed.

## 3. Add Permission Set to Listener Guest User

**Steps:**

1. Go to **Setup → Sites**.
2. Click the site label **GetAcceptListener**.
3. Select **Public Access Settings → View Users**.
4. Click the **Full Name** of the site guest user.
5. Under **Permission Set Assignments**, click **Edit Assignments**.
6. Add **GetAccept Integration Listener** permission set → **Save**.

## 4. Grant Permissions to Users

All users who need access to GetAccept must have the correct permission set.

**Steps:**

1. In **Setup**, search for **Users**.
2. Select a user who will use GetAccept.
3. Under **Permission Set Assignments**, click **Edit**.
4. Add the permission set **GetAccept Integration User** → **Save**.
5. Repeat for each additional user.

Admin users will require an additional permission set, described later in this guide.

## 5. Add the GetAccept Integration to Your Environment

You now need to add the integration component to your desired Salesforce object.

**Steps:**

1. Click the **Setup Wheel → Edit Page** (on the object page where you want to add GetAccept).
2. Drag the **Integration (Custom)** component to your layout.
3. Click **Save**, then **Activation → Assign as Org Default**.

## 6. Set Up the GetAccept Admin App

The integration includes a companion app, **GetAccept Admin**, which manages key configuration and access settings.

**Steps:**

1. Go to **Setup → App Manager**.
2. Find **GetAccept Admin App → Edit** (via dropdown arrow).
3. Remove any existing **Selected Profiles**.
4. Assign the permission set **GetAccept Integration Admin** to the users who should access the app.
5. Share the **GetAccept Reports** folder with those users (required for dashboard charts).

Once done, navigate to the **GetAccept Admin App** and begin configuration.

## 7. Register Your Service User and Listener

To connect Salesforce and GetAccept, you need to register your integration service user.

**Steps:**

1. Open the **GetAccept Admin App → Setup Tab**.
2. Log in using your **GetAccept admin credentials** (with access to all entities).
3. Select your previously created **Listener Site URL**.
4. Check **Download signed documents** if you want signed PDFs automatically stored in Salesforce.
5. Click **Register**.

You’ll receive a success message confirming authentication.

## 8. Connect GetAccept Entities

If your organization uses multiple GetAccept entities, you can now choose which to connect.

**Steps:**

1. In the **Admin App**, go to the **Entities** tab.
2. Select which entities to connect → click **Connect**.
3. Wait for the page to reload and confirm the connection.

Your Salesforce org is now integrated with GetAccept.

For more information on using the Admin App, see: **[The GetAccept Admin App for Salesforce](https://help.getaccept.com/en/articles/5756026-the-getaccept-admin-app-for-salesforce)**.

## 9. Troubleshooting

**Issue:** No status updates after the customer opens or signs the document.
→ Check that your **Listener Site** is active and properly registered with GetAccept.

**Issue:** Standard users cannot access the app.
→ Verify that they have the correct **permission sets** assigned.
