Understanding Document Statuses in GetAccept

List of different statuses shown on document/recipient level

Throughout a document’s lifecycle in GetAccept, different statuses help you track its progress. Below is an overview of what each status means and what actions (if any) might be needed.

Document Statuses in GetAccept

Draft

A document is created and prepared for sending but has not been sent yet.


Sent

The document has been sent to the recipient(s) but has not been opened.


Viewed

The document has been opened but not fully reviewed.


Reviewed

The recipient(s) has fully reviewed the document.


Lost

The document is marked as lost by the sender or rejected by the recipient(s).


Hard Bounce

The document was not sent due to incorrect recipient email addresses.


Recalled

The document was deleted by the sender or replaced with a new version.


Importing

The document is being uploaded and processed before being sealed.


Sealed

The document is finalized before sending.


Verified

Seen in the Detailed Event Log before “Signed” when a verification method was used.


Signed

The document has been digitally signed by all Recipients.


Added

A status displayed next to recipient(s) when the sender shares the document link.


Waiting

Seen next to recipient(s) in a signing order.
