Enhanced Domains in Salesforce

Learn how Salesforce’s Enhanced Domains update affects the GetAccept integration and how to ensure your listener site continues working correctly after the change.

Introduction

With Salesforce enforcing Enhanced Domains (from Spring ‘23), some GetAccept integrations may require reconfiguration to maintain functionality.

What Are Enhanced Domains?

Excerpt from Salesforce documentation:

Enhanced Domains are the modern version of My Domain, meeting new browser security standards.

All org URLs now include your company’s My Domain name, covering Experience Cloud, Visualforce, and content file URLs.

These domains remove instance-specific URLs, making links consistent and secure. They are now required in all orgs from Winter ‘24 onward.

How Does This Affect GetAccept?

GetAccept’s integration uses a Listener Site (configured during installation) to receive data from GetAccept servers.

When Enhanced Domains are enabled, this site’s URL may change, “breaking” the listener.

Expected new format:

MyDomainName.my.salesforce-sites.com

If the listener is invalid, you may experience:

Fixing the Issue

To restore functionality:

  1. Navigate to Apps → GetAccept Admin → Setup.

  2. Click Edit next to the Listener URL.

  3. Re-enter your GetAccept Admin service user credentials.

  4. Select the new valid Listener URL from the dropdown.

  5. Click Register.

  6. Go to the Entities Tab → Disconnect and Reconnect all connected entities.

After reconnecting, verify:

Once confirmed, your integration is fully restored.
