Setting up an entity allows you to manage your company details, regional preferences, and team seats so your documents and signatures stay consistent.

Configure your company information

You need to add essential company details to your entity settings to ensure your email signatures and administrative records are accurate.

Note: This information is used globally across the entity, so ensure the Business Registration Number is accurate for legal document compliance.

Define your regional settings

Setting regional preferences ensures that every user in your entity operates with the correct time zones, currencies, and languages.

Note: The Data Center location is set during your initial account creation and usually cannot be changed here for security and compliance reasons.

Create a new sub-entity

If your organization has multiple branches or departments, you can create a new entity to keep their documents and users separate.

Note: When you create a new entity, you will need to invite users specifically to that entity, as permissions do not automatically carry over from the parent entity. Contact support to add the new entity to your subscription.

Rename or repurpose an existing sub-entity

The Entity Name field for a sub-entity is locked in the UI and cannot be edited by an admin, even from the root entity. This applies whether you are managing the sub-entity from inside it or from the root entity.

Note: To rename a sub-entity, contact GetAccept Support or your GetAccept contact. Smaller, one-off renames can be handled by Support directly. Larger changes (such as renaming many sub-entities as part of a migration or consolidation) should go through your GetAccept contact person.

There is also no self-serve option to disconnect a sub-entity from the root entity. If you disconnect a sub-entity, it becomes a web trial and will expire without a plan, so contact your GetAccept representative before making this kind of change.
